This is just one of over 9,000 recipes we've collected since early 1996. Many of these recipes have been passed down from family member to family member and then shared with friends and then, with SecretRecipes.com. When it comes to recipes, the real secret is that all of our recipes always have been, and always will be free!

- Can also be baked covered in an oven @ 300 F. for 1 1/2 hours *after* simmering the beans in water for 45 min to 1 1/2 hours. Drain beans and place in large baking dish, add all other ingredients plus enough of the cooking liquid to barely cover the beans.
- These are good. Sometimes I add a few Tbsp of Bacos while cooking in the crockpot. If you find these too sweet, just cut down on the sweeteners.
