This is just one of over 9,000 recipes we've collected since early 1996. Many of these recipes have been passed down from family member to family member and then shared with friends and then, with SecretRecipes.com. When it comes to recipes, the real secret is that all of our recipes always have been, and always will be free!
- Preheat oven to 450. Combine dry ingredients. Cut in Crisco and stir in yeast and buttermilk. Roll and cut as desired or make into Parkerhouse rolls.
- Bake on middle rack of oven at 450° F or about 10 minutes. Ovens vary. Dough may be covered tightly and refrigerated as long as a week, as needed.
- You do not have to wait for rolls to rise, but you may prefer to let them rise an hour or more before baking.
