El Pollo Loco-style Avocado Sauce
- 1 avocado (ripe, peeled & pitted)
- 1 jalapeño (fresh, cut into quarters)
- 1 cup water
- 1 tbsp white vinegar
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 2 Tbsp fresh cilantro (minced)
- 2 Tbsp onions (diced)
Combine all ingredients in a blender and pureé.
Optional: For chunkier salsa, after pureeing, place in bowl.
Mix in one diced avocado into pureed mixture/p>
