Mrs. Fields' Pecan Supremes


  • 2 cups Flour
  • 1/2 tsp Soda
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 3/4 cups Quick Oats
  • 3/4 cup Dark Brown Sugar, packed
  • 3/4 cup Sugar
  • 1 cup Butter, Softened
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 2 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1 cup Chopped Pecans
  • 1 cup Semisweet Chocolate Chips


Preheat oven to 300° F. In a med. bowl combine flour, baking soda, salt and oats.

Mix well and set aside. In a large bowl blend sugars with an electric mixer at med. speed.

Add butter and mix to form a grainy paste. Add eggs and vanilla.

Beat at med. speed until light and fluffy. 6 Add flour mixture, pecans and chocolate chips and blend at low speed just until combined.

Drop dough by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased cookie sheets, 2" apart. Bake for approx. 20 min. Immediately transfer cookies to a cool, flat surface.
