Ingredients:

  • black pepper, fresh ground - to taste
  • 1 lb fettuccine, prepared as directed

Fontina Cheese Sauce Ingredients:

  • 6 Tbsp butter
  • Salt, to taste
  • Freshly-ground black pepper, to taste

Directions:

  1. In a medium saucepan, melt butter. Once melted, add cream cheese.
  2. When the cream cheese is softened, add heavy cream then season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Simmer for 15-20 minutes over low heat, stirring constantly.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in parmesan. Serve over fettucine.
  5. Makes 4
