Seamark Seafood Chef Bubba's Deviled Crabs

Ingredients:

  • 1 lbs regular or backfin crabmeat, remove shells
  • 2 Tbsp minced onions
  • 2 Tbsp minced celery
  • 1 Tbsp minced green pepper
  • 3 Tbsp chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 Tbsp Old Bay Seasoning
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 4 cups fresh bread crumbs
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp Tabasco sauce
  • 16 to 18 natural crab or aluminum shells

Preparation:

Combine and mix all ingredients well. Spoon into shells, heaping up in the center. Bake in 400° F preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes, until golden brown on top.

NOTE: If you use natural shells, wash them in 1 part vinegar and 2 parts water before using.
